When I only had one filter, every time it got dirty I had to wash it and then wait a full day for it to fully dry before I could use the vacuum again. Having spare filters completely eliminates that downtime. They fit and install easily, and they make regular vacuum maintenance much more convenient. You still need to rotate and clean them, but being able to swap a clean filter in right away keeps the vacuum usable without interruptions. If you use your vacuum often and wash the filters instead of replacing them immediately, having extras on hand is well worth it.
