A: NO. 2/0 CABLE MEASURES 5/8"

**Q: what kind of material is this made of**
A: Feels like heavy duty plastic.

**Q: what is the heat resistance temperature ?**
A: This is not a heat resistant plastic it is more for the reduction of ware or fraying of wires. I put a match to a scrap piece and it caught fire. I would make sure this is not against any thing that gets hotter than what you yourself can stand to hold onto.
