Vent holes in this area, which are lined with a mesh lining, work in combination with the open pockets on the knee protectors to act as built-in ventilation with each stride. Stretch material on rear makes them easy to perform the splits in if you want. Had to return due to waist/belt area being tighter than rest despite following ufpros sizing charts. Consider moving waist size up if you're on the higher end of a measurement. Leg lengths and widths perfect however. Leider ist die Liefererung nicht entsprechend der Darstellung auf den Bildern, sonder viel intensiver und auffälliger. Das passte also nicht. Denn leider war die Hose sonst top und super bequem. Habe sie heute zurückgeschickt und die Tarnversion neu bestellt.Nachtrag 26.05.2019: Gestern ist die Neubestellung mit dem Tarnmuster angekommen. Leider muss ich auch hier sagen, das die farbliche Abbildung auf der Amazon Seite nicht mit dem tatsächlichen Produkt übereinstimmt. Siehe auch Foto. Dennoch werde ich die Hose dieses Mal behalten, da ich hoffe, das die Farben beim Waschen noch ein wenig verblassen.Nachtrag 30.05.2019: Ich habe heute meinen ersten "Outdoor Einsatz" im Wald mit dieser Hose hinter mich gebracht und ich muss sagen, ich bin vom Tragekomfort begeistert. Bei Temperaturen so um die 20 Grad Celsius und feuchter Luft sind die eingearbeiteten Klimatisierungsschlitze top! Durch die große Anzahl an verschließbaren Taschen findet fast jeder Gegenstand seinen verliersicheren Platz. Da ich mich rundherum in der Hose wohl gefühlt habe bekommt die Hose nun die volle Punkt,... ähm Sternezahl.
