The 10900k is definitely a extremely capable processor. Yes it is expensive and for many will be too much money, but if you can afford it the payoff of having such a powerful computer is insane. It will last many many years and will not choke with any loads for a while. Thermals are quite good - under 30c idle when cooled with a h100 platinum liquid cooler. I would definitely reccomend using a liquid cooler as I think it would get too hot on load using air. Overall I am loving my new processor and I hope to further test it in the weeks to come.
