It works like GreenStuff if you are familiar with that. mix part A and B and then you have some time to sculpt it into whatever you want. As it cures it goes through various stages of workability. It will be a little more sticky early on and then as it firms up you will be able to using sculpting tools to create all sorts of detail with finer details being easier early on and smoothing being easier a bit later. Between this and some model paints I've been able to save quite a few little resin figures that got chipped when they got knocked of their shelves. When done well the repairs are barely noticeable and very well adhered to the original piece. Are they basically all the same?** A: All 3 are quite different to work with. I did not like procreate. It's pretty firm. Almost like if regular natural epoxy sculpt started to cure up. It would probably be good for sculpting armor or anything architectural/robotic and does hold detail extremely well. I love milliput and it is the most clay-like out of all of the epoxies I've tried. Green stuff cures slightly flexible which has it's uses however it's really difficult to work with. It has the consistency of chewing gum when mixed. It's not for everyone but as I said, it does have it's uses. Apoxie is a great medium out of all of these. It's a staple. If I had to choose out of all of those, I'd choose miliput, however Apoxie is easier to use out of the tubs (rather than cutting from the tubes the milliput comes in), works well, sands well, holds detail well and is much cheaper in the long run if you use a decent amount. Hope that helps! **Q: Can I use it to sculpt a figure and then use it to make a silicon mold suitable for casting resin?** A: Yes you can use it to Sculpt a Sculpture; But I recommend using an armature because It can be really soft and fall easily without being supported internally. I have not made any molds yet but know others who have so I would guess that you can also make a mold of the sculpture. You might just want to spray it with a Releasing agent before the actual molding process.JD **Q: I want to make an insert to make a car's cupholder smaller. Once mixed, if i press it into the cupholder, will it bond to the car's plastic?** A: Almost certainly yes, it would work - but if that's all you are going to use it for, as much as I love this stuff, you may be better off getting an insert-able re-adjustable cupholder if you can find one that will fit in your car so that you aren't stuck with one size because once this stuff has sets it is incredible durable. **Q: What kind of paint would you suggest for permanent results? The acrylics I'm using keep chipping.** A: When I use this on models I have used Reaper acrylics and Freak Flex acrylics. When I finish the model I always use a clear coat spray, either flat or gloss, depending on the model. I always have to use more than one coat of Freak Flex paint, they are pretty thin. So far I haven't had any chipping on them.
