They are well made - only one of the 3 fit him. That is no big surprise of any welding cap. Welding caps are something one really must try on because they are not going to be exact every time. However, my question is this: Would it have been so hard to grab one of each pattern when packing to ship? We recieved 2 of the same pattern in our assortment. The reason this is a bummer, is because my husband is able to identify different fits by the pattern. Many times, I've heard him say, "I'm looking for the yellow one, it fit's snug over my ears," or, "I need the red one, it wears better over my forehead.". When you have several of the same pattern, it's hard to distinguish one from the other. It wouldn't kill someone to reach into different bins or boxes to vary the patterns. But while most baseball caps don't come down anywhere near my ears, this cap goes well over my ears. I prefer to have a cap like this fit tightly to the top of my head, but I also dislike having my ears pushed out or covered up.
