Also lets you handle suppressor after firing multiple rounds. Purchased for prairie dog hunting in Montana. I have higher scope mounts and lower scope mounts on the 2 main rifles i use and dont have a problem seeing over it through scope which was my original worry. I have had this cover so hot the heat resistant liner was smoking, yet you could still take suppressor off without a glove(dont touch the metal buckles, found that out the hard way). Works amazing.
