Good product for this use and affordable price. ### ⭐ This product is poorly constructed and starts breaking down after a few months. *by P***A on September 3, 2018* This product was a waste of money and a piece of garbage. It starts having issues within 3 months, parts of it stop working correctly and they don't offer any type of return. It is a piece of garbage. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Takes some getting used to *by V***R on October 9, 2017* I wasn't real happy at first. The strings were too high off the fingerboard and the sound through the earphones was terrible. Also, the guitar doesn't easily rest on your leg like a classical guitar - it is narrower, heavier, and slick and tends to slide off. I took it to a music store and had the strings lowered a bit. I don't have a guitar amp, but I plugged it into another amp I have and it sounds much better than the earphones (although I think it sounds a lot more like an electric guitar than a classical one). I bought a neck strap to keep it from slipping off my leg. It just feels different from a classical guitar and I had some trouble playing it at first, but after some practice I'm starting to like it more and for the price it can't be beat.Update: Sound was getting distorted when playing at anything louder than a very quiet level. Thought the guitar was defective, but tried changing the battery and the problem went away. Guess that's the sign of a low battery. I bought a Roland cube amp to use with it and it works well although it still sounds more like an electric guitar than a classical guitar. I'm still bothered by the strings being a bit high. Playing a barred F chord in first position is difficult.Second update: I'd been getting frustrated with the high action on the strings which makes playing more difficult than with my real classical guitar. Also, I realized that the way the instrument sits on my leg in standard playing position, it is several inches to the left of the real guitar causing the neck to extend further. This makes playing while reading music more difficult since I'm not watching where my hand is and i frequently find I'm not in the right place. And the sound when playing through an amp really isn't that good.I recently found a Yamaha SLG200NW in a local store and decided to try it out. I ended up buying it. It looks similar to the Sojing and is considerably more expensive but is a far superior guitar.
