I found I had to shorten the locking spindle on the fixed end to accommodate the larger width chisels. Can also be used for flat chisels with care. Review: No sizing in the description so buyer beware - Far too small for the chisels I use, no indication of actual size in advert. Title now says "carving chisels" which presumably means "tiny". Also best of luck turning the smooth and very small tightening wheel whilst holding a chisel at the right depth and alignment. Not a well thought out product. ### ⭐⭐⭐ No good to me *by R***R on 15 June 2023* I bought this as I thought it would help sharpen my wood carving chisels. However it no good for my Pfeil small V groove or half round carving chisels as the shanks on them is too short.
