It leaves a slight sheen, conditions my skin and beard very well. I have noticed a difference with how much it condtions my beard and even with more beard growth as well. The best thing about this oil is that it isn't greasy at all, it's all natural, and the scent is really unlike anything else I've ever smelled. As many here commented, it's citrusy and woodsy yet it is also very well balanced. It's also a very uplifting scent as well. The combination of different scents definitely make you feel like you're in a jungle-oasis. The scent will last all day but it is not over-powering or harsh.The only thing this oil needs is a complimentary beard balm to go with it. Maybe even some car fresheners too!I should also mention, the guys over at groomed gorilla are offering to send out this oil for $6 bucks on their website if you simply spread the word through social media. My son says my gray beard makes me look like a silver back gorilla. Groomed Gorilla makes me smell like coconuts. It takes only a few drops to get that oil conditioning and smell. The smell lasts about 4 hours then fades. I usually use beard balm but after this purchase I use less balm and a few drops of Groomed Gorilla. Bottle with eye dropper is a good way to dispense this oil. The oil is a light oil and thus very liquidy.
