I was so excited, that I set it up right away! I also have a more expensive Garden Tower 2, with the compost tube in the center, about $399. This planter is cheaper and very easy to stack. And, to add soil to. The negative is that I bought two, to stack up high, over 6 feet. I'm afraid it may topple over. I bought two plant caddies, that weren't heavy enough. One broke, etc. Next, I'll try furniture coasters, which work with my other tower planter/composter, on outdoor tile to move it. I also like that this planter is easy to unstack and restack. Next, I want to drill holes in the base of each planter spot for "trickle down" watering. Update: works super well. Key is good soil. Unfortunately, I bought a few bags of cow manure, which became mud/clay. So, some pots have trouble growing plants as well. Also, good to get a saucer for underneath to keep your deck clean and neat. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well made, just make sure to stabilize to prevent toppling. *by J***O on Reviewed in the United States on January 31, 2018* Love it . Exactly what I wanted. When I initially stacked these up, it was obvious it needed support. But, I also wanted to suspend it in my Aquaponics greenhouse as well. So, after some trial and error and a visit to plumbing store, I have been able to suspend it, have a rotating swivel and a sturdy planter. I used less than 4-ft of 3/4" pvc pipe, some wide surface couplings, a total of three toilet bowl flanges (the ones with four slots to string the swing through), a plastic sink drain in top flange, a pair of Nosiva Tree Swing straps (from Amazon), and a HeavyBag Boxing Chain & swivel (from Amazon) so I can turn it easily for harvesting or toward a light, if needed. I had to drill holes in the bottom flange to insure no water could collect. I tested the weight factor by swinging from the rafters so to speak. I could tell you it was 110#s, but that would be a lie, but suffice it to say, there was adequate weight to test. I have attached a picture. (Sorry about it laying sideways)Pros and Cons:Pros:1) Well made and sturdy2) Attractive3) Plenty of grow room for roots4) Plenty of drain hole so potential for standing water is less likelyCons:1) They are a bit pricey. Just write it clearly so people don't waste money and time. Instead of hiding the dimensions in the stats, fix the names. Large or very large, seriously.....? How about small and large? $95 for 10 terra cotta colored or $75 for 5 black well thats actually $95 for 10 or $150 for 10..... They are going back immediately. I'll buy 10 more terra cotta before I waste $45 on recycled plastic planters. That $45 will pretty much fill them with soil and some vegetables.
