## Description

The refined, ultra-compact Titan Plus builds upon our groundbreaking Titan, the world’s first professional-grade keychain flashlight, by adding several useful “pluses,” including more than twice the maximum output--300 lumens of flawless white light! Its high-performance LED also generates two other useful light levels with a simple twist of the head switch: 75 lumens at its medium setting and 15 lumens on low. No matter which output level you select, our proprietary faceted reflector shapes the LED’s light into wide, smooth MaxVision Beam. And, because there are no intense hot spots and it’s optimized for your field of view, you see things clearly and maintain good situational awareness--crucial for closer-range tasks and safe navigation. Titan Plus may be small and stylish, but it is constructed of durable nickel-plated brass that resists scratching and corrosion. This rugged light features a removable pocket clip that provides countless secure-carry options, because you’ll want to take this light everywhere you go. Powered by its included AAA NiMH rechargeable battery, Titan Plus can run for up to seven hours before it needs a charge. Or, for added convenience when recharging isn’t an option, it can be powered by a single disposable AAA alkaline, readily available worldwide. Activating Titan Plus is as easy as twisting its head switch counterclockwise for low output. For medium output, simply return to off by rotating the switch clockwise, then counterclockwise again within one second. Repeat the process a third time to unleash all 300 lumens from its microprocessor-controlled LED. Built to SureFire’s exacting standards - and created for everyone - the groundbreaking Titan is the world’s first professional-grade keychain flashlight. This ultra-compact, dual-output feat of engineering boasts a proprietary faceted reflector that shapes the light from its high-performance LED into a broad, smooth MaxVision Beam at both 125 and 15 lumens--astounding levels for a finger-sized light. The beam is perfectly balanced and better preserves your dark-adapted vision since it doesn’t have an intense hot spot. And its wide beam pattern was designed to fit your field of view. Because of all these factors, it better maintains your overall situational awareness, crucial for safely navigating in the dark. The small but potent Titan was designed to always be with you and, to that end, comes with a stainless steel split ring that securely attaches to your keys--ensuring it’ll never be out of reach. To activate Titan, simply rotate its head counterclockwise (with head pointing away from you) for low output. Return to off by rotating clockwise, then rotate counterclockwise again, within one second, to unleash all 125 room-filling lumens from Titan’s high-performance LED. Powered by its included AAA NiMH rechargeable battery (charger not included), Titan can generate useful light output for up to 8. 5 hours on a single charge, thanks to its sophisticated microprocessor that continuously manages the flow of power. This versatile keychain light can also run off of a readily available AAA alkaline battery for up to 13 hours. AAA lithium batteries offer increased runtimes on low-output setting - up to 17 hours. Titan’s durable yet elegant body is precision machined from strong, lightweight aerospace aluminum and further protected by a hard-anodized finish that meets high military specifications. And its head is topped off by a coated, virtually indestructible polycarbonate window that also optimizes light output. The rugged, one-of-a-kind Titan was built to take on the elements and the rigors of modern-day life. It may just be the last keychain light you’ll ever own.

Review: Costly but worth it. Surefire Titan Plus vs. Surefire Sidekick - I wanted a new keychain light (for my car keychain). I have used the Fenix E99 Ti for years. Tiny. Works on one AAA battery. 100 lumens max output (single output). I wanted a stronger light. 100 lumens simply doesn't do it for me. I found two formidable choices: Surefire Titan Plus and Surefire Sidekick. I ordered both Surefires so I could compare them. Be advised that if you decide also to order both, they are both packaged in *blister packages* that you have to cut open. desertcart likes to receive returns in original packaging. So learn from my experience. A very important factor for me was the form factor. I wanted a very small light that is also very bright. Both the Titan Plus and Sidekick are 300 lumen max brightness. But they both also have three variable lumen levels. Sidekick: 300 lumen, 60 lumen, 5 lumen. Titan Plus: 300, 75, 15. What stuck out to me was the 5 lumen minimum output of the Sidekick. That's really low, and kind of like, what's the point? The Titan Plus is a good half inch longer than my Fenix E99 Ti. That was a concern. When I received the Titan Plus, I put it on my keychain. The length is no longer than my car key fob. That's good. The Sidekick basically looks like a key fob, with a similar size. Kind of bulky. Frankly, I want only one "fob" on my keychain, and I want my flashlight to look like a flashlight. And it being Surefire (the best flashlight brand available) I wanted to be proud to hang it on my keychain. I ended up keeping the Titan Plus and returning the Sidekick. The difference in brightness between my Fenix E99 Ti and the Surefire Titan Plus is remarkable. The Surefire is very, very bright for a keychain light. You adjust the brightness (300, 75, 15) by turning the head on, then off quickly, then on again, then off again and on again ..... basically to cycle through the brightness settings. I don't like that kind of mechanism. I would much rather have a dedicated button to cycle through the brightness levels. But I know if Surefire tried to design and integrate such a button on the Titan Plus, that would necessarily increase the size of the light. So I can live with the mechanism as-is. The Titan Plus is sturdy and durable. All metal construction. It has a good heft to it. The Sidekick feels like, well, a key fob (made of plastic). The overall build quality of the Titan Plus gives me more confidence. Nonetheless, I don't doubt for one second that the quality of the Sidekick is impeccable because it's made by Surefire. The Titan Plus runs on one AAA battery. They include a rechargeable AAA NIMH Eneloop in the light. I don't have have a AAA charger. I'll have to consider buying a charger, or I might just keep good AAA batteries on hand. The Sidekick is rechargeable with an included USB cable. The choice of power supply between AAA and USB-rechargeable comes down to buyer preference. Do you want to keep AAA batteries on hand, or do you want to have a USB power supply on hand? Both have their pros and cons. One thing to consider is how many times a rechargeable battery can be charged/discharged before you have to finally replace the battery. With AAA battery power, you just buy batteris. But bottom line, with both max outputs being equal, because of the size and shape and form factor and all-metal construction of the Titan Plus, I am choosing the Titan Plus as my new keychain light. I'm very happy with it. Is it costly for a keychain light? Yes, sure. But it's Surefire. And If you want the best, then you have to pay for it.
Review: My new outdoor EDC compact LED flashlight. - I immediately fall in love with this Titan Plus when I see Surefire's new videoclip ad. I am a Surefire registered customer and they'll send ads including the short video clips whenever their new tools come out. It is so funny that I used to outdoor EDC Surefire's powerful P3X Fury Tactical flashlight which illuminates almost reaches1000 lumens or at least the P2X. Even though they're excellently served and never dispointed me for many years with their brilliant powerful lights but with strong illumination lights they must have at least from two to three cr-123 cells and five to six inches long enclosed in my nylon Velcro carrying bell and they sometimes get stuck to my thigh when I sit down and it's not very comfortable to carry them all day long. I have a new idea for myself that why not to try something new, small, light weight but so powerful with a aaa cell available everywhere it can illuminate and turns the whole dark room almost at bright as the daylight and this new Titan Plus is an idealism tool suites all my needs without scarifying the weight. This Titan Plus is a little heavy and little long in its the keychain lines with it's 3.4 ounces and 3.5 inches long, but I won't carry it with my keys. I use it as my every day carry clip it in my shirt's pocket or hang it around my neck with the land yard whenever I'm outdoored. I hope Surefire will make another Titan plus like this but modify it with the tactical tail cap to momentary and constantly on. I also love and purchased the Surefire Sidekick(car fob likes)with its lumens as the same as this flashlight but it's press the button on/off. I really like its faceted reflector which produces a very large pure beam without border, which is large enough that almost covers the whole darken room with its super bright white light and this is a very useful for a night combat weapon light. I have Surefire include other brand's weapon lights but nothing is perfect that they're only focus their hotspots with super bright in the front where you aim the weapon at and very dim on the sides of the ring. The Titan Plus and the Sidekick, with their special designed faceted reflector nothing can escape with their super bright white lights because both sides and the whole front room covers with the broad daylight within 15-30 feet and this is a very good home defend weapon light for closed engagement at night. I wish these little keyring lights have a momentary on and off tactical tail caps that I will take them to the gunsmith to custom make the steel frame to attach them to my Glock sidearms when situation needs in the first rule of engagement on weeping the room without expose myself too long without the need of moving the weapon from left to right. This desertcart seller has reasonable price on the Titan Plus than others retailers and some sellers on eBay even charge up to $150. I ordered this Titan Plus on Feb-15-2016 and the item was shipped two days latter with the USPS tracking numbers informed texted to my cellphone that the package would be arriving and delivered on the Sunday of Feb-21-2016. What I believed I will get the package on the Monday morning but what an amazing the USPS driver stopped the mail truck in front of my house and delivered me the package on this Sunday. That's the good points to the desertcart seller and the USPS. Editing 3 hrs afterwards: The aaa Eneloop Pro rechargeable cell comes with the LED light(I have a dozen) is the top of the line rechargeable cell which is very bright on this flashlight and it also holds the charge in 80% within a year if you're not in use but it's a 1.2v in the line. If you're really want it must more five times brilliant on this Titan Plus like me,I use the new Ni-Zn aaa rechargeable 1.6v cell and it's blindingly bright with more than 300lumens output. I hope it won't damage my lovely flashlight.

Solidly built and makes a nice edc gadget. The price is a bit hard to shallow given the size. But it’s a Surefire. The brightness is phenomenal. The only thing to look into now is how well it will hold up in time. Hope it won’t disappoint!
