The light marks the corners of the gate but sheds no light on the ground. I had hoped that it would provide enough light to guide a person walking to/through the gate. After working for a week, the light emitted is very poor and nothing like it was in the first few day. The Woodway website gives no contact telephone number, so I sent them an email with my query about the efficiency of the batteries. After a week there is still no reply.
