I RARELY bake or decorate desserts, I normally buys custom bakery cakes. I’ve been looking for ways to cut on expensive bday costs and figured I could probably handle this. I bought cute cupcake holders and then used this tool with buttercream frosting. TIP - In the stores you can buy ready to use frosting in the bags, and add food coloring or buy them colored. I found this to be easy and convenient, and taste better than my own homemade frosting, as I haven’t quite mastered buttercream frosting. When using my homemade frosting I purchased icing bags on Amazon, which were easy to use and not complicated. The buttercream frosting was used in combination with Duncan Hines cake mix. I felt empowered with these few tools and the easy store bought frosting made it so easy that I am confident I can make MORE awesome cupcakes! In the pic ... I tried a grass edible print on amazon.
