**Q: gimbal - is this at top of shade**
A: The gimbal is centered within the middle of the shade.

**Q: Is the round metal fitting towards the bottom of the lamp (for table/floor lamp) unlike ceiling lamp where it would be near the top**
A: It is at the bottom suitable for a table lamp. That is what we have it on.

**Q: Is there a metal frame inside to fix onto lamp?**
A: Returned the item wasn’t suitable for my purpose!!
