The cheap old version of this wand has a tiny hole in the plastic that lets the soap dribble into the sponge. This new version has a much larger opening that is activated by the the thumb squeeze but for me, anyway, it takes many hard squeezes to spit out some detergent. Maybe it was developed and tested by men with giant thumbs. Neither is ideal. **Q: How do I put soap in it? Don’t want to break it** A: Great question!
