Does it stick to the paint? Does it yellow over time?** A: Kate, I've used on outdoor things such as gnomes, large metal butterflies over the last 8-9 months without any yellowing. It does stick to the paint. Hope this helps. **Q: Can this be used on metal to protect it from sun and rain?** A: yes, you can use this for metal but I found a better product for outdoor protection. It is Modern Masters Master Clear Supreme. To say the coating is uneven is a gross understatement. It sprays in gigantic droplets with very sparse coverage-- getting a smooth coat is impossible without manually brushing afterwards due to how ridiculously poor the atomization is.
