I ordered a Large as I have a muscular build and wanted enough room in the shoulders and chest so I could wear the coat over something heavier like a sweater in winter. The Charcoal coat is darker than the photos would suggest; the photos make the Charcoal color appear much lighter, like a Grey. I was pleasantly surprised the Charcoal was indeed darker than the photos show. One caution regarding the Dark Navy color; it is VERY dark.
