You get what you... buy. It's $3, it didn't break on me and it is doing what I need it to do. It's good for vlogging with smaller recording devices such as your phone or a gopro. I currently have an 8in. light ring on it which pretty much maxes its stability out. The weak part on this tripod is the ball clamp. It is pretty flimsy plastic with a plastic screw. If it had or were to break on me I would have replaced it with a hose clamp.
