They last “forever,” but do collect lint. They sometimes slip out of place between shoe wearings, but not while I run; it’s no big deal for me. I’m ordering another pair now to go in my new HOKAs because it’s a hassle to regularly switch heel cups between shoes. Plus I suspect some of the squish starts to compress a bit over time. Overall, Sof Sol is a high-quality mfr. But some of their other products are not as well-suited to my needs. There’s a lot of hit-and-miss involved with finding the right devices for such highly individualized foot issues! These heel cups are not as easy to keep in place with slip-on shoes, nor elevated heels.
