We live in the middle of nowhere, so we can turn it up and hear it basically anywhere in the house too. Also, something that I didn’t think of before purchasing is that we used to use just our Alexa, which has a directional sound, so if your talking with someone and closer to the speaker it’s can be hard to hear or you have to talk over it. Whereas these ceiling speakers give an even ambient sound throughout the room so everyone can hear the music but also still hold a conversation. It’s great. As for installation, it was my first time doing anything like this and it was pretty darn easy. Hardest part is finding a way to run the wires to your amplifier. All the Bose speakers carry a hefty price tag, but I kind of wish i had the 500 series to compare them too.
