When I first got it, I would have easily given it a 5 star rating, When working properly, this little amp is in a class of its own, but now a year later it gets a 3 star rating since it has been in the shop due to a very irritating hissing/crackling noise when singing any word with an "s" sound. I have also noticed a reduced "presence" and a bit of distortion in the high frequency "high E string" end of the guitar spectrum, it has lost the wonderful quality that made it stand out from the others.The Laney rep/tech checked it out and agreed with the music store owner that I should "turn the treble back to neutral and the crackling will stop". "Nothing wrong" said he. My contention is if the volume is not beyond midpoint I should be able to max the treble without clipping, It did not do this when new. We pulled a new one of the shelf and set it up as mine was set, there was no crackling at the same settings. they both still insist that it is my settings, because you can turn the treble down to where the noise stops. Note, there is no noticeable distortion when using headphones at any setting, but the same distortion is present with the use of an external speaker. Also, the amp volume setting has never been above it's mid point at any time since new, the use has only been for my own personal enjoyment and it has not been abused in any way. The warranty is for 5 years so I guess I have to wait untill it deteriorates to a point where they will admitt there is an issue, until then I am stuck with this as is. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Eccellente Ampli per acustica e classica *by L***A on Reviewed in Italy on October 23, 2016* Ottimo rapporto q/p.
