I hope this was helpful. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It definitely keeps the mosquitoes at bay. *by I***M on September 4, 2021* Works as expected for keeping the mosquitoes away. I wish it had a switchable timer to shut it off after a predetermined time (1-3 hours would be ideal since the repellent pads are designed to last for at least three hours). It's easy to forget that it's on and to forget to shut it off (especially if you fall asleep). It's kind of a waste of resources (fuel) to wake up the next morning to find that you almost emptied the fuel cartridge. Also, I have noticed that if left outside and the overnight temperature falls to about 60° or less, the unit takes a few tries to to start. Also, don't leave this unattended in a place that gets direct sunlight for more than half an hour. Direct solar heat will obviously activate the pad and you'll come home to find that you need a new one. That warning may be in the instructions, but who reads those? Anyway, I like it and it does what I bought it for. I just have to be more diligent in shutting it off, at least until Thermacell gives me a timer, then I can go back to being my good old irresponsible self.
