Review: Very nice faucet - Bought this because it matched the color and brand of the main faucet we got when we remodeled the kitchen. It replaced the one that came with the desertcart Basics Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System. It is a different type than that system, so the wiring hoses are different. The old one was an "air gap" faucet which had an extra line that sent waste to a filter. The new one doesn't have that, so the waste goes directly into the drain instead. Also the diameter of the waste hose was a different size. But once it was all installed properly, not only does it look great, but the water seems clearer and cleaner coming out, because the old air gap one would put tiny bubbles into the water making it look kinda foggy. This one the water looks perfectly clear immediately after it comes out.

**Q: Why does this have a prop 65 warning if it’s 100% lead free**
A: Prop 65 is useless at best, a scam/collusiuon at worst. And anyone who has ever worked in product development knows this.

**Q: I have the kraus kpf-1673. will this drinking faucet collide with the main faucet if they are installed closely? the holes are pretty close**
A: Depends on too many variables. When I installed mine in granite, i set them 10” apart and i have no issues.

**Q: does this faucet connect to the Brondell countertop water filter?**
A: While I did not connect to a faucet, this unit connects better with an under sink faucet connection and did come with a well-made connection. I would try calling them to confirm that it will connect with your Brondell.

**Q: Does the tip of the faucet screw off?**
A: No, I tried to unscrew it to see and it does not.

Bought this because it matched the color and brand of the main faucet we got when we remodeled the kitchen. It replaced the one that came with the Amazon Basics Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System. It is a different type than that system, so the wiring hoses are different. The old one was an "air gap" faucet which had an extra line that sent waste to a filter. The new one doesn't have that, so the waste goes directly into the drain instead. Also the diameter of the waste hose was a different size. But once it was all installed properly, not only does it look great, but the water seems clearer and cleaner coming out, because the old air gap one would put tiny bubbles into the water making it look kinda foggy. This one the water looks perfectly clear immediately after it comes out.

This is the ideal faucet. Great quality, looks good, and works well. Be advised installation will be difficult without a specialty tool (extra deep socket or basin wrench) to tighten the nut; lucky for me my other faucet came with one that was the right size. Kraus would be wise to add such a tool to this kit to reduce customer frustration. Ideally handle should be positioned on the right, but it can be oriented in any direction if necessary.
