The collapsible metal-like selfie stick extends and retracts smoothly. Also, it's segmented in a way that the user can extend to various lengths. The spring loaded clamp that holds the phone is very tight so that the phone doesn't slip; however, I do not know how long the spring will last - but I expect to get a lot of usage out of it before I worry about it. This stick was tested on the iPhone 6, 6s Plus, and Samsung Galaxy Edge 6. The handle/grip is pretty decent for both male or female. The Bluetooth detection was flawless but the iPhones seem to take longer to detect it.
