Not because I didn't want it, but because actually getting into my laptop was really hard. If you happen to have a pre-2017 model HP Omen, be prepared to remove a lot of screws, some hidden. That being said, I love this RAM. My Omen, while a 2017 model, was running perfectly with the exception of it needing a RAM upgrade. I took it from 12GB to 32GB. Now it's running like new. It goes from fully shut down to the Windows log-in screen in about five seconds now, compared to 10-15 seconds previously. Not a huge difference in the grand scheme of things, but a noticeable difference for sure. Once I was able to remove the bottom of the case, I swapped out the sticks in less than 15 seconds then booted it back up and noticed a big difference. I haven't gotten the chance to play any games yet, but I'm sure it's going to perform wonderfully. I recommend this RAM upgrade. Crucial is some of the best you can buy and the Ballistix is great.
