Both the outer material and lining are quite thin so it will allow a lot of droplets to penetrate. I’ve been waiting for face filters to arrive (but taking a looong time due to Amazon fulfillment delays). In the meantime, I’ve been using paper towels that have been folded a few times— which tests have shown do help with blocking smaller (but not he smallest) droplets.
