I’m guessing the lowered ratings for the fuse was given by people that didn’t know to remove the emblem on the fuse casing and tighten the fuse in it with the tool provided. I thought it worked very well pushing power to my dual Rockford Fosgate punch P3 12’s, and my Rockford Fosgate P1000xbd mono amp. Which the amp is certified at 1477 watts. I was very hesitant searching for the right set, because the main problems with wiring kits are: 1. Not true to the specified gauge 2. Made with aluminum, not 100% oxygen Free Copper (better conductor) This kit is both true 4AWG wire AND 100% OFC. It comes with a very nice red power cable and black ground cable, twisted RCA cables that reduce noise and distortion, very sturdy speaker wire and remote wire, an awesome 100A fuse in a sturdy fuse holder*, and every terminal piece you'll need to cleanly end your wires. On top of that, it is very affordable. I've looked at every wiring kit on desertcart, and I will say that this was the right choice. If you want your system running at its full potential, do NOT skimp on the wiring. Go big or go home. At the very top center of the picture is a gray plastic container (approx 6-8" from the end of the power cable). That is the fuse container. The fuse is inside and can't wiggle out. **Q: How much speaker wire do you get?** A: Kit includes 17 feet of 8 AWG power wire, 3 foot of 8 AWG ground wire, 30 feet of 16 AWG speaker wire, (1) 16 feet twisted pair RCA, AGU fuse holder and fuse, 20 feet of remote wire, 40 Amp fuse. **Q: Is this enough wire to run for a f150 supercab ?** A: I am inclined to say yes, but to be sure, you should measure. You need to figure out where you are going to mount your amplifier, and how you plan on routing your power cable.
