Top quality pastels *by B***O on July 14, 2024* This was my first purchase of soft pastels and I LOVE THEM. I use them in combo with some MUNGO pastels for background filling. These were recommended by my pastel teacher and they are excellent. These soft pastels are pretty expensive so do your homework as to how they're made. You don't have to buy the top of the line to get excellent results. Ive been painting in acrylic, watercolor, charcoal and decided to try out this new medium ... it's awesome. If you are doing portraiture in soft pastels get the pan pastels...they are the Cadillac of pastels.
