I was fully prepared to return these right away and buy some Bronsons. My experience: I received a full, apparently new set of bearings that are very quiet when spun out of the box. On the board they ride very smoothly and I'm able to coast for a surprising distance. The new design provides exceptional performance during axle and torsional loading. I tested it out and it came out that my Bones Reds Bearings are slighlty better. than Oust. If you want some cheap bearings but decently ok, you can go with Oust (even thoud Bones will probably give you better quality). For top quality ones do not even think on Oust. I am getting myself some Swisses this time. I thought I could get away from the hype, but the hype is real.
