Review: New life to closet queen - I was a little concerned that the install would be difficult based on other reviews. Fortunately for me, I have a tool for belt replacement on my Dyson vacuum. It looks like a small ice hook with a T handle. Worked perfect to grab the belt, stretch it and get it over the shaft. I also learned you need the beater brush back in place before looping belt over the shaft. I "saved" the second belt by slipping it on to the vacuums attached hose. Now I'll have no problem finding it next time the belt needs to be replaced! Review: Great price. Well made. Fits 8130 Dirt Devil - This is a "type 1" belt and they look really small...but they do in fact stretch to fit the vacuum and they provide high torque for the beater-brush.
