I own 2 professional grade Trumpets. I bought a Cornet (JP171SWS) because my friend, also old, told me when his trumpet wares him out he grabs his Cornet. It's more forgiving.So I bought this one and here are specifics:1. It was delivered as indicated when I placed the order.2. The carrying case is very nice and adequate.3. The horn is absolutely beautiful to the eye.4. It has good tone and valve action.In short, I love it. Typically a student grade horn will not hold up to professional rigors. I've had this one only a few weeks. I play all my horns everyday. So far the Cornet has not failed me. But it might be too soon to tell. However, I wouldn't be surprised if this horn lasted a young student player right into his professional years.P.S. check with your instructor on the mouthpiece. I opted to get a Cornet mouthpiece with the same cup dimensions I use on my Trumpets. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Beautiful... sound and feel *by E***N on January 16, 2023* This is a very high quality instrument.
