## Description

This 5mm cloth bound fuel hose is used on all Beetle applications from 1945 to the 1974 Beetle year model. Also fits all Karman Ghia, type 2 bus to 1971 and type 3 to 1967. Continental 5mm hose is the only true VW factory spec hose on the market today. Cloth binding on the outside allows it to be used with or without hose clamps as suggested by VW. Will stand up to most of today's fuels with added alcohol. Priced per foot, order multiples if more than one foot is desired.

A: Yes it can if you purchase quantity 3.Thanks,Austen

**Q: What is the outer diameter of this hose?**
A: About 9.7mm on the OD for real German hose

**Q: What are the specs regarding ethanol resistance?**
A: There are no real specs as to how long it will last, I'm sure it depends on the alcohol content state to state. This German Continental hose holds up pretty well with most fuels that have an ethanol content. I still change all my fuel hose on every aircooled vehicle I own about every 15 months, a practice I got in the habit of when I did service/repair.  The main idea is to just be observant when you service your car.

A: I ordered and received this fuel hose, which has an I.D. of 5mm, just like all early VW cars since 1938.

This is a classic fuel line in the "VW" world (especially air cooled), but I use it on my vintage motorcycles as well.  It's unlikely you will need a hose clamp to secure this on carbureted fuel delivery applications!
