Review: Great selection of passages. - I like the passages. Most of my students in 1 st grade cannot read them yet. They are all lower level ESL students. But it is great for my 2nd grade students.
Review: Simple, straight forward book - I really liked the way this book was set up. It's straight to the point, the pictures are printed in black and white ...so it's just a simple layout, but that was ok for us. There's the story on one page and then the questions on the next. This was the perfect book to add to my son's curriculum. If you're looking for a book with lots of cartoon pictures and bright colors, then this isn't the book for you. If you want to supplement your child's reading comprehension with a simple, straight forward book then this will meet your needs.

I really liked the way this book was set up. It's straight to the point, the pictures are printed in black and white ...so it's just a simple layout, but that was ok for us. There's the story on one page and then the questions on the next. This was the perfect book to add to my son's curriculum. If you're looking for a book with lots of cartoon pictures and bright colors, then this isn't the book for you. If you want to supplement your child's reading comprehension with a simple, straight forward book then this will meet your needs.
