I just wish they also have the scale as NO2-N as well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Using to test forages *by on Reviewed in the United States August 14, 2021* Using a protocol by Paul Vendrell from the University of Georgia, I have used these to test several different crops (alfalfa, oats, winter wheat, spring wheat, millet, sudan, etc) for nitrate levels before feeding as hay or letting cattle graze on droughted out crops on our own ranch. The hard part of this product's use isn't the strips themselves, it's making sure you can do the protocol to test the forage up front and then use the conversion charts to make decisions about implementation of feed within your operation.I find these work well. There are cheaper products out there, but I don't have a problem paying $40 for a quality product that could save tens of thousands of dollars in livestock losses if you weren't testing.
