It is much better designed & used to raise doors in order to start the screws in the top hinge. It's invaluable when there's only one of you for the task. For drywall, you're much better off putting a couple of 1x3's under the sheetrock then bending down & getting your hand under then lifting. It might also crush a piece of the wall as it's a bit narrow. For doors, it's king. **Q: Where is this tool manufactured?** A: No idea, I’ve installed hundreds of sheets with it and haven’t had any problem. It’s an aluminum extrusion and is holding up great. **Q: Why are there no photos of the rasp? It’s small and lite so you can keep it in your tool belt without a problem. This is my third one. I’ve had 3 different brands of these over the last 4-5 years and really like them. Just be careful not to drop them. I broke the lifting tab off my last one by dropping it on the concrete slab. My first one suffered the same fate. My second one disappeared on a large multi crew job.
