My wife's favorite type of jam is fig which is sometimes hard to find, so she decided to try this Casa Giulia brand that happens to be a product of Italy. The flavor of the jam is perfect, with just the right amount of fig chunks mixed in the jar. It has the usual added sugar, pectin, lemon juice and vit.C. The price is higher than other brands but well worth the price! We have been trying to grow enough figs on our own young fig tree (brown turkey), but not yet. She wants to make her own fig jam, of course! This jam so impressed us that we ordered another jar for our next-door neighbors who also are trying to grow figs, and they are NY old-school Italian. They were thrilled, and raved about the flavor!
