What is the purpose of court dashes, instead of solid lines???** A: Its the way the stencil is cut out. It would be easy enough to fill in the gaps after removing the stencil if necessary. We dont even notice the gaps when playing. **Q: How many feet of spacing is between the inside court and 3pt line** A: from the line to 3 pt line is about 13 feet. I just went and stepped it off **Q: Are the lines straight or is it really these weird dashes?** A: You will have dashes after painting instead of full lines because of the way the stencil is cut out. Once the stencil kit is removed it would be easy enough to fill in the gaps. Laying the stencil only took about 20-30 minutes but the material is extremely cheap and flimsy and rips easily. The complete project took about an hour but the paint leaked underneath the stencil so the lines weren’t crisp. It actually better to use the roller they provided since you’ll see it works better.
