Review: Truly works on the HD500X! - I ordered this for my Line 6 Pod HD500X. The Pod uses 9vdc, negative tip. I was happy to find after receiving this, it measured with a meter 9.28vdc, was in fact negative tip. Issues i have had with other adapters was they say they are for the HD500X, but are positive tip and the connectors don't fit correctly. Causing the HD500X to go off and on intermittently when you step on a foot switch. This one the connector fit correctly. Glad I bought two of them. One to keep as a backup.

I ordered this for my Line 6 Pod HD500X. The Pod uses 9vdc, negative tip. I was happy to find after receiving this, it measured with a meter 9.28vdc, was in fact negative tip. Issues i have had with other adapters was they say they are for the HD500X, but are positive tip and the connectors don't fit correctly. Causing the HD500X to go off and on intermittently when you step on a foot switch. This one the connector fit correctly. Glad I bought two of them. One to keep as a backup.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works fine with PODHD500x

I use this for my Line 6 PODHD500x. Has worked well for several weeks now. No issues. I actually bought 2 of these so I can keep my original on stage so I don't have to pack it up every week, and keep 1 at home to practice with, and have another in my bag at all times. I don't like the little extension, which I assume is what converts the adapter tip to "center positive," because without the adapter the POD does not turn on. As soon as I put the converter tip on it, it works fine. The tips look exactly the same so I thought it would work without it. Nope. My only reservation about the converter tip is I don't like having an additional vulnerability of something coming unplugged. Although it feels like a pretty secure connection, I taped it anyways just to be covered incase someone trips on the line or something. This is much better than spending $35 on an original power adapter, which is just highway robbery for something that probably costs $5 to manufacture.
