I got it for my '16 Royal Enfield Bullet 500. UCE engine. Stock filter is too restrictive. This one has less pleating on the interior, and allows air to flow freely. My bike is no longer choked for air. When installing you need to cut the old filter from the steel lid, and scrape residue/solvent clean. This filter is a little thicker than stock, so I had to cut the sealing lip off one side to get the thickness right. Then I glued lipless side to the lid with napa ultra black sealant, that rtv on roids stuff they use for oil pans and engine assembly. Fits just right. Make sure the filter lip and the plastic air box seal are almost flush to each other. Otherwise, the filter, or plastic air box won't seal right. Review: Give your bike a boost - I replaced the standard paper air filter on my Royal Enfield Rumbler 500 with this one and the effect is astonishing. My bike used to hit a wall at aprox. 4.500 RPM (max. 6.000 RPM per tachometer). After using the bike for about 57.000 km, I saw adds for these filters and decided to give them a try. I have now 8.000 km on them and the bike is notably more powerful, does not hit a wall while accelerating and is, in general, clearly more spirited.
