So I had to hunt for an alternate source of make-up lighting which was inexpensive and quick to get as I was getting a bit desperate with winter coming! I have to say I am really pleasantly surprised how good this mirror is. It sits on my dressing table and is tall enough to see full hair and make-up. Really good lighting. As I don't have enough room for a small table lamp, I tend to use it as well if I need a low light on in the room, but particularly when I am wandering into my dressing room on a dark morning and can't quite face turning on the bright overhead light just yet!
