I used a standard bi-fold wallet for a while, until it finally crapped out on me. bigger wallets tend to wear and get torn (any fabric) in my pocket - i'm sure it happens to many people. I then went to a fossil money clip style wallet/ccard holder. it seemed "ok" but honestly wasn't stoked with it.. kept looking for its replacement or to get a standard wallet again. Then i came across this wallet by FLYT - i'm not familiar with the company, but the logo/name didn't look cheezy as many do, so i wasn't apposed to cross it off my list (i don't want to look cheap, but i'm def not trying to show off to anyone either) - clean design, can be great for a day wallet & evening wallet. though its slighlty wider than the Fossil money clip, it fits perfectly in my wallet. honestly the money clip seemed almost too small. the fossil was HARD to get ccards in & out. This FLYT wallet was super easy. tight enough not to lose any cards but easy enough to slide in & out without issue. one slot has a thumb opening for 1 hand operation. was perfect at my initial run to Chipotle! paper money holding area was awesome. it seems wide enough to hold a variety of size bills (folded like the money clip style), but this snugs your cash within. No issues with losing bills or having bills fall out like i have constantly with the money clip. honestly, i haven't had much need with the RFID (or whatever it's called), so i can't really comment there. but it's nice to know i have that security when it's needed. the elastic outter slot one one side can hold some tiny odds & ends. i'm thinking a couple coins if really needed.... but i use it for my bottle opener! ;) overall. definitely happy with the purchase. would buy again. holds a ton for a minimalist wallet while still feeling minimalist! Review: A REAL thinnest wallet done properly (1 year later update) - There are tons of ads about "the thinnest wallet". Most of them aren't true. And even those that are, are worse than this one. Say there's popular R*DGE wallet, it's thickness is 6mm+strap, and that's what the *thickest* part of this wallet is. The thinnest part of this wallet is half of that. And that fancy wallet will not hold your cash securely inside like this one. But even in this category there are many thin wallets of this form factor, yet very few of them do things properly. Problems with the most of them are: leather is too tight making inserting or taking cards out challenging; the card pockets are without the silky liner, same problem; they use vertical card pockets, that look great on photos, but inserting the card along the longer side is much harder; and the most problematic thing is that 90% of them have the cash pocket open only at the top, making it *extremely* hard to put in or take out cash. This wallet did all those things right. The leather is soft and compliant. Cash pocket opens at top and the side—easy cash operations, yet cash and papers are held securely inside. The cards slide in horizontally and the proper pocket lining makes sliding cards in and out easy.
