By design, the plug will not fit into a 120 Volt receptacle. Whatever voltage it gets on its power whip (input) will be available to its 14 outlet receptacles (output). There is no power conversion or drop-down transformer insdie. So if you're plugging in a device like a server or PC, it's power supply unit must be rated the same. The C13/C14 type plugs are used for 120V-240V applications. MOST of the devices with these type of plugs have AUTO switching PSUs in them. However, you should NEVER assume. Please read the rating on your device's power supply unit. Many older PSUs had a manual switch to select the appropriate voltage type. A mismatch equals disaster. If you give 240V to a 120V device, you'll likely fry it. If you give 120V to a 240V device, good chance you'll fry it as well due to a "brown out" type of situation. I would start with your input side (wall receptacle or power whip). If you don't have the appropriate power available for this device to plug into, this is probably not the right PDU for you. I've yet to run into a twist lock socket that was not marked; albeit often hard to read. If you can get a good look (maybe use the camera on your phone), you should be able to see a ring with something like "L6-20" or "L5-20" stamped on the face of the receptacle. This device requires "L6-20". L=locking, 6=208-240V, 20=20A. You pretty much need all three things to match. If you have a standard US wall receptacle (NEMA 5-15) or a 120V twist lock receptacle (L5-20), again, this is not the right PDU for you. Technically, it could run two of them, though I wouldn’t recommend doing so because you’ll exceed the NEC 80% loading rule. One unit will probably hover around 14A give or take, and depending on ambient temperature.
