A third of the price of my Braun and everything works so much better! You get the hair cutter, a smaller trimmer, a carry case and all sorts of accessories. The hair cutter is rechargeable - with a single charge lasting for ages. The cut length is determined by which coloured guide you opt for. There is a more than adequate range to choose from! There is also a small bottle of machine oil. The recommendation is to apply a tiny drop on the blades prior to use. I found the cutter extremely easy to use and surprisingly comfortable. It's also so much quicker than the Braun. I am impressed. The smaller trimmer is battery (1x AA) powered and works great for fine trimming around the ears etc. It is a tad cheap and cheerful but, to be fair, it does the job.... So, overall this package represents remarkable value for money - so why pay so much more for a "branded" product? While it lasts. *by R***S on 2 December 2025* I bought one of these during Covid, and it's been fabulous. No messing around with setup and adjustments, it just works. 5 years on, and it's got to the point where it's a bit weak. I took it to bits and couldn't find anything obviously wrong. I suspect the battery may be on its way out. But it'd cost me a lot to buy a new battery to try and fix it, with no guarantee of success. So I bought another one.
