A solid colored 36 is more like 35. Tight but wearable. In cammo, a 36 is like a 34. If you have long legs, you roll the dice. This time it worked great. When it arrived I was surprised the package weighed so much. Material is nice heavyweight cotton. The length is just right for my 34”+ legs. As with everything, wise to order up a size. Normally that would be 40 for me, but I ordered 42 for the extra length. They’re not too big. And the black camo is subtle enough to look like designer clothes rather than military garb. Still not sure of the point of the zipper. Toothpick holder? Haven’t washed them yet, so can’t comment on shrinking. But will use cold water to be safe. The legs are also straight. The last brand I tried had tapered legs which I don’t like. If you want to look like a soldier, use the ties at the bottom. ### ⭐ SAVE YOUR MONEY *by B***Y on November 8, 2019* the cargo pocket at the bottom ripped open the very first time i wore them, (large rip) also the zipper is very cheaply made, probably made in china or some third world country. the material actually seems to be ok tho. i will return them for a refund, UPDATE.. (missed the return date), after the 4th wash i found two buttons in the washing machine and a third fell off a day or two later. oh, THEY ARE MADE IN CHINA.
