Great service. - Orginally, had a problem with my purchase. However, it was taken care of almost immediately. I can't say enough good about the service I required. I originally felt the hood was a little pricey. I mean you can get face shields for about 15$ at HF, but it came well recommended for durability. The face shield, itself is crystal clear and easily removed. One thing I like about the hood is the wrap-around frame. It gives the whole thing some solidity. The head band is (almost) infinitely adjustable and very comfortable. My uncle has a disturbingly large head and it fits him perfectly. I definitely feels safer with it as opposed to the traditional style face masks. I would have given it 5 stars but it doesn't always stay in the up position if it gets bumped. It definitely scared the crap out of me but it didn't hurt the mask or me. I do need to replace the lense but it's just because it has splatter spots from stains, sealers, and glue. I can't seem to find a replacement though so I may buy another mask. The price isnt bad and it's truly worth it. Sorry Mr. Tobia , I couldn't resist. **Q: Can you wear a respirator under the shield ?** A: Answering this, as I had the same question, and just tried them. It easily fit the paper 95N type respirator with cool valve. For the other, rubbery mask type with changeable filters, it fit with the round 100P pink cartridges, as they are lower profile. It had maybe half inch to an inch of clearance from cartridge to lens. Since the exhaust shoots down, I hope the lens won't fog up, but we'll see. It did not fit with the organic compound cartridges used for solvents, as those hit the shield before closing halfway. Test was done with shield at lowest setting. **Q: Does it protect the neck? Also does it stay put if flipped up & is that what the ratcheted piece is for)?** A: It does cover the neck better than any other face shield I've used over the last 15 years and it stays right where you want it. Has a nice thick cushion on the head strap and is also the most comfortable head gear I've worn. It is now my go to face protection over regular safety glasses. Wish I would of bought one sooner. I use it all the time in my shop. Very sturdy. **Q: would this work well with airsofting?** A: I would say no. It's very large, and not really designed for staying in place while doing lots of physical activity. I used it for about 4 hours so far . It protect good coverage . I use it for weedwacking yards. The shield get dirty fast and it is worth it. Just got to clean it . The only minus star is for the rash/ache that cause on my forehead. My advise is to wash it before wearing the face shield . Also i can not wear my head muffs at the same time to listen to music.
