A: I returned the vent because the vibration was too high.  I recommend that you do not purchase this unit.

**Q: How are the mounting screw holes accessed? Assume are visible with grates removed.**
A: Yes, with the grates out you can see the mounting screws on each side.

Love the very sleek and streamlined design of this range hood. Recessed into our existing area. Lights are perfect and they dim! Fan is powerful and I don’t think it’s too loud. It has an auto off feature. My husband is a carpenter so he was able to fit the unit up inside our existing area. Very happy with this product so far!
