This anti-skid additive is a micronized polymer specially designed for added grip and fine texturing in both water and solvent based acrylic concrete sealers and coatings. Because of the anti-skid's high solvent resistance and very low oil absorption, it stirs into acrylic coatings easily without noticeably changing the viscosity of the sealer. Excellent suspension is a key characteristic of the anti-skid due to its low density, even in very low viscosity coatings. This results in universal compatibility without a significant increase in viscosity of a sealer. This additive provides superior slip resistance not only for acrylic sealers but also for other topical coating applications like epoxies, urethanes, etc. Addition of the anti-skid to a sealed surface may result in a slight loss of sheen when used with high gloss sealers. Product is environmentally friendly and does not contain any harmful VOCs. This product is recommended for use with water and solvent based acrylics, epoxies, urethanes, etc. It is ideal for most commercial and residential topical concrete sealer and coating applications where slip resistance is desired.
