These fitted beautifully straight away. They are slightly more roomie than other Ecco size 6 shoes I have tried, even though they do not say they are a wide fit. I ordered a 6 and may have been able to get away with a 5½ but I can put thicker socks on and/or add an insole if they get any bigger after walking them out. They look very well made and made to last. The leather is super smooth and soft while still being sturdy and the sole is stitched rather than glued. My only gripe is that the pull tab for pulling them on is soo tiny, I can't even fit my pinkie in! It's even too small to comfortably grip between thumb and index finger.
