We did not try and rooftop or attic antennas (at least not yet), but this was easily the best of the others we tried (and the cheapest). My only problems (and they are minor so I am still giving this five stars):1. We bought this mid-move and I lost the stickers. They are no where to be found and I'm wondering if I would get better reception if I didn't have to use painter's tape.2. It can't be moved from place to place easily so you have to find one spot that works and stick it there, which leads to #3;3. In one spot on the wall, we can pick up all channels, but one tends to fade in and out, move the antenna to a different spot and we can pick up the other channels, but no way to move it easily between spots.Overall, great buy. ### ⭐ +4 Stars for Antenna, -3 Stars for Design *by T***S on December 2, 2016* This May be a good antenna, but I can't set it up to tell. The design is awful. The Antenna mat is fine. There is a rather large connection at the wire out at the bottom of the mat, but that's not my issue. The Amplifier Box is 5½" below the wire out off the antenna. That SUCKS! Not only do you have to mount the antenna, you have to mount the amplifier box too. That is not awful, the box is small and not very heavy. (The do give you several 3M pads to stick stuff to a wall) BUT The power cord has to plug into the amplifier box, and the cord is about 5 ft long. So you have to mount your antenna within 5' of a power outlet.So it was very difficult for me to test. Where I temporarily put the antenna, I had no place to put the amplifier box, and it was not 5' from an outlet. (you could defeat this problem with an extension cord, mine are all in use on Christmas lights at the moment)The top picture is accurate, I didn't notice the issue looking at the picture. (during a lightning deal)To differentiate, most indoor antennas (Mohu, Wingard, etc) have the antenna mat, and a wire out of 6-12' which leads to an amplifier box, and one end goes to the TV and a power cord is tethered in to go the power outlet a few ft away (this is fine, the outlet is by the TV, right)Maybe they have to put the amplifier so close to the antenna to get 65 mi range, if not, they really screwed the pooch on the design.If your antenna is going to be really close to the TV (and a power outlet) and you have room to stick the amplier box within 6 inches of the bottom of the antenna, this may work for you. If it sounds like a lot of restrictions, look elsewhere. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not worth the money *by B***. on January 6, 2016* This product may work for homes in a town or city area but if you live in the countryside like I do...It is not worth the money. You can get some channels in on your television but it's very static in the picture area. This may be due to the cord being very light weight and flimsy. My previous antenna hd amplifier was of better quality made. The sticky circles included with this product, do not stick to walls or windows. It falls right off, not staying in one place. I moved this flimsy square plastic thin like antenna around my living room several locations up and down to try and get more channels and the static gone but nothing worked better. Like I said before, if you live in a rural area or countryside you are better off paying more money on a better quality made product. It may work in towns or city areas though.
